Polynesian word meaning "forbidden" that is, they are words or actions that humans can not do, because it is forbidden.
Many cultures began to have different types of taboos, and it was something so great, that many people began to follow this.
There are many definitions of taboos, in some cases it is forbidden to simply pronounce a word, because it goes against the cultures or values of that society.

5. Find a four-leaf clover is good luck: The cultures of Egypt began with this, as they remove evil with this clover. Another legend says that when Eve was expelled from Paradise she took a four-leaf clover.
Many cultures are very close to their beliefs, and will not stop having taboos.
